It’s been less than a week since the release of Stellar Blade and the game has already achieved the highest Metacritic user score so far in 2024.
Stellar Blade currently sits at a ‘Universal Acclaim’ 9.2 user score from 2,911 ratings, making it the highest for any game with a significant amount of ratings.
The 9.2 user score puts SHIFT UP’s Stellar Blade above other recent hits, including Final Fantasy VII Rebirth with a 9.0 user score from 3,413 user ratings, and Helldivers 2’s 8.2 user score from 1,573 user ratings.
The PS5 exclusive action game also topped Persona 3 Reload’s 8.5 user score from 648 ratings.
While Stellar Blade is enjoying its critically acclaimed success, it hasn’t been without its fair share of controversy and criticism, mostly between the instance of ‘unintentional racism’ that required a day one patch to remove references to a racial slur and Sony issuing refunds to users for claims of ‘false advertisement.’

It was planned for PC and Xbox after some time. But Sony made it exclusive. So, I don’t know if it will have a PC version now. 🙁
it will even sony made exclusives are getting a PC release, is not a matter of if but when, in these 16 of the month where are getting ghost of tsushima on PC the only game right now left it blood borne, everything else has had a PC releas not that i care to much for then, most of it is cinematic woke gabage lately, in teh case of ghost of tsushima i am interested, but then again sony is not getting a cent of my wallet. so 7 seas version it is.
Its a good game, story isnt really complex but the characters are good and well acted, and the visuals of this game are incredibly beautiful.
And the big seller, the combat, its enjoyable, and on the hardest difficulty its pretty damn brutal for BOTH sides, since both you and the enemy can die in a couple of hits.
Guess i should say that im talking about Ghost of Tsushima lol.
